The sun has finally shown itself today and I am convinced the coldest weather is behind us, finally! Now’s the time to put those warm-weather plants and seeds into your garden. Tomatoes, peppers, squash and cucumbers should all be safe now, along with basil. If you planted too early and need some replacement plants or if you played it safe and are now ready to plant, we’ve got you covered.
It looks to be a sunny, beautiful morning tomorrow and we’ll be out at the Lee’s Summit Farmers Market from 7am until at least noon. We’re now confident in bringing our tomato, pepper and cucumber plants, along with all our herbs, flowers and seeds.
As always, please don’t hesitate to ask if you have questions about planting or caring for anything in your garden. If we don’t know the answer, we’re happy to find it for you. And, check out our 8-part Guide to Gardening for a refresher on how and what to plant and how to care for it.
See you at the market…and happy planting!
